Q - Do I need to Title Insurance
A- Yes.Title Insurance protects you the homeowner from claims against the home that may have happened before they purchased it, such as a prior owner’s failure to pay taxes or fairly compensate contractors. If there was an error in the title search and a claim from a long lost owner said they owned your property, the Title Insurance would protect you from such an issue. It is very rare that this occurs but it can happen and protecting your largest investment is worth the cost.
Q - How do you get paid?
A- If you are a buyer and I am working with you, I get paid at closing from the seller's proceeds of the sale. . If you are a seller working with me, a commission amount is agreed upon at the time of listing the property. At closing, the listing agent & buyer's agent get paid out of the seller's proceeds.
Q - How long will it take my home to sell?
A - The Avg time is between 55 - 70 days to market the home, accept a contract and close. Market conditions, condition of your home and whether it is a cash or financed sale can affect the days on the market.
Q - How do I prepare my home to sell?
